鱼的进化是指魚類的演化進程。大约5.3亿年前的寒武纪大爆发期间，就有生物開始逐步朝魚類進化，例如無頜總綱以及海口魚。寒武纪晚期，出现了类似鳗鱼的牙形石以及甲冑魚。泥盆纪时期，鱼类的种类大量增加。 [1]
与许多其他生物一样，鱼类也會受到生物集群灭绝的影响。泥盆紀後期滅絕事件导致甲冑魚和盾皮鱼以及其他鱼类在泥盆纪末期灭绝。
